- Articulated Robots: These robots have rotary joints and are often used in manufacturing for tasks like welding, painting, and assembly. They offer flexibility and a wide range of motion.
- SCARA Robots: Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm (SCARA) robots are used for pick-and-place tasks, assembly operations, and packaging.
- Cartesian Robots: Also known as gantry robots, these operate on three linear axes (X, Y, and Z) and are used for tasks like CNC machinery and 3D printing.
- Delta Robots: These are parallel robots with spider-like arms that are fast and precise, commonly used for high-speed pick-and-place applications.
